PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial feed composition capable of satisfying nutritional requirement of larva of Sasakia charonda, promoting growth and development of the larva and raising the larva through pupation to emergence and to provide a method for rearing the larva of Sasakia charonda, adaptable to the ecology of Sasakia charonda. SOLUTION: This artificial feed comprises about 50 wt.% (based on a dried material, hereinafter the same) of dried leaf powder of Celtis sinensis, about 20 wt.% of defatted soybean powder and about 0.3 wt.% of vitamin B group mixture, raises and grows wintering larva of Sasakia charonda and leads the larva to the emergence. |
