摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel sheet excellent in low magnetic field characteristics, by adding S and Sb+Sn 12 respectively in specified ranges to steel containing specified weight % of P, Si, Mn, Al and Ti, and the balance substantial Fe. SOLUTION: This silicon steel sheet contains, by weight <=0.2% P, 1 to 4% Si, 0.05 to 1.5% Mn, 0.1 to 1.5% Al, <=0.0009% S, <=0.005% Ti and 0.001 to 0.05% Sb+Sn/2, and the balance substantial Fe. In accordance with the reduction of S, its magnetic flux density slowly improves. By adding an extremely trace amount of Sb to the extremely low S material, the magnetic flux density is moreover improved. The desirable amount of Sb to be added is 10 to 500 ppm. Moreover, in the case Sb and Sn are compoundly added, the magnetic flux density also improves. Its desirable amount to be added is 10 to 500 ppm by Sb+Sn/2. It is suitable as a silicon steel sheet used for the iron core material for a large-sized motor an a compressor.
