PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device, which can perform a favorable sealing without distortion, and of which the processing capability is high. SOLUTION: A box W, which is carried by a feeding conveyor 12, is carried into a lifting path of a lifter 25 by a feeding pusher 22. For the box W, which is lifted by the lifter 25, the rear flap 11a, which protrudes to the rear side from the top wall of the box W, is bent downward by a rear section bending guide 29, and a natural carton folding is imparted to the box W. On a rear side wall 18, with which the rear flap 11a is affixed, a glue is applied through a rear section glue sprayer 33. A force-feeding plate 37 of an overhead conveyor 34 approaches the box W from the rear upper side, and presses the rear flap 11a under a semi-folded state in the direction of being superposed with the rear side wall 18, and affixes the rear flap 11a to the rear side wall 18. The box W is carried out from a lifted location by the horizontal movement of the push-feeding plate 37.
