摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase hysteresis without any increase in hardness of reaction disks. SOLUTION: A reaction disk 25 has a recess 25a in a rear end face 25b, and a plunger 31 forming a part of a valve plunger 8 has a projection 31a that loosely fits in the recess 25a. Upon actuation of a brake booster 1 from its nonoperating condition shown, the bore and bottom of the recess 25a are placed in contact with the projection 31a, and the rear end face 25b is with an end face 31c of the plunger 31, with the result that brake reaction is transmitted to an input shaft 21. A reduction in brake pedal pressure or input in the operating condition causes the bore of the recess 25a exerts resistance on rearward movement of the valve plunger 8.
