PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up drying ink discharged and recorded to a medium to be recorded, thereby enabling an ink-jet printer to print at a high speed by pressing and heating the medium to be recorded from a record face with the use of a heater, and discharging and recording ink liquid drops to the medium to be recorded. SOLUTION: A recording paper 28 held between a recording paper-heating belt 33 heated by a PTC thermistor heater 31 with a self temperature control function and a pressuring roller 35 is pressed and heated from a record face and, sent to a recording part with a head substrate 1. A heating efficiency is improved by pressing and transferring the recording paper 28 by the roller 35, and the recording paper can be heated without wrinkles. The recording paper 28 is transferred by a recording paper-transferring belt 22 having small holes formed by a predetermined pitch longitudinally and laterally to an entire face and synchronously sliding in the periphery of a belt supporter 23 having holes of the nearly equal pitch. The recording paper 28 is surely adhered onto the belt 22 through suction from a suction duct 25 of the supporter 23, and transferred without deviating to immediately below the ink-jet head substrate 1 and printed.
