PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate clogging in a hole on a control plate of a print head. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a toner conveying roller for carrying and conveying toner, a control plate 30 having a plurality of openings 12 and image signal electrodes provided thereon, a recording paper and an opposing electrode which are disposed in the above order. The apparatus further comprises a vibration generating body 60 and a vibration transferring plate 15 for transferring vibration from the vibration generating body 60 to the control plate 30 so that portions of openings 12 are cleaned by applying the vibration to the control plate 30. The vibration transferring plate 15 is so constituted that the width becomes smaller along the vibration transferring direction and the attenuation of the vibration can be suppressed, thereby obtaining the uniform cleaning property.
