PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance-free water supply device which is used for a flower pot or the like and enables a user to stay away from his home and go out without anxiety for about several days to about two weeks for a trip or the like, because the maintenance of water for a hung flower pot or a flower pot hung on a wall among flower pots can be carried out using the simple and inexpensive water supply device. SOLUTION: (1)A water supply container 7 obtained by forming a water-supplying small hole 3 in the upper portion of a cap for a PET bottle or the like and further forming an air hole 4 in the neck portion or the shoulder portion of the bottle is used. (2) A water supply tool 8 which comprises a funnel-like, tip-sharpened and closed unglazed pottery 5 and whose whole portion, upper portion and lower portion are used as a water-receiving container, a safety tool against overturning and a water supply portion, respectively, is used. (3) When the water supply container 7 in (1) is charged with water, capped with the cap 2 and then inverted to pour the water in the water supply tool 8 in (2) from the upward A, a constant water level is always obtained in the water supply tool 8 (water-receiving container) irrespective of the volume of the water in the water supply container 7. Thereby, the water can stably be supplied from the first time to the final time, and the supply rate of the water can automatically be controlled in response to the dryness degree (weather and season) of a culture soil. |
