PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject product by a processing method safe at work and environment-friendly by performing physical processing to make the surface roughness of the product after processed in a specified range. SOLUTION: Particularly sandblast processing or sandblast processing and subsequent brush polishing are performed as the physical processing so that the surface roughness (Ra) of the glass product is 0.4-1.2μm. Those which can make the glass surface into a clouded state such as ceramics and glass are usable as the polishing material to be used in the sandblast processing but #400 of Al2O3 is desirable as the polishing material in consideration of easiness to make Ra into 1.0μm or smaller and processing speed. After the sandblast processing, the secondary treatment is necessary since minute glass powder is stuck onto the surface of the glass product and the powdery feeling remains. The best secondary treatment is the brush polishing. Since the product has small surface unevenness, the transfer printing is made possible and thereby the latitude in designing and so on can be widened. |
