METHOD OF USING LIME BASED INCINERATION ASH AS SOLIDIFYING MATERIAL FOR SOLIDIFYING SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using incineration ash capable of keeping the solidification ability of a solidifying material constant as the solidifying material for solidifying sludge by calculating the mixing ratio of cement in accordance with the variance of the solidification ability of the incineration ash to change the cement mixing ratio at the time of using the lime based solidified incineration ash as the solidifying material for solidifying the sludge. SOLUTION: A fixed quantity of the incineration ash is supplied with affixed quantity of water having a prescribed temp. to an adiabatic vessel 2 to be stirred and the increase f the temp. of the aq. solution after a fixed time is measured. The correction value of the mixing ratio of the incineration ash with cement is calculated based on the cement mixing ratio correction procedures in due consideration of the quality fluctuation the incineration ash, which is obtained by a previous test, by inputting the measured increase of the temp. The incineration ahs and the cement are supplied to the sluge 5 based on the calculated correction value and the mixed lime based incineration ash is used as the solidifying material for solidifying the sludge.
