The present invention relates to an aqueous, liquid hard surface detergent composition having excellent surface lubricity and filming/streaking characteristics. Said composition comprises less than about 1 %, by weight o f the composition, of a C8-C18 linear alkyl sulfate detergent surfactant where in more than about 30 %, by weight of said surfactant, has a C14 chainlength, i s essentially free of unreacted fatty alcohol and alkanolamine compounds and i s suitable for cleaning glass.
