PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the high performance of a device including a treated body by applying baking treatment in the state of covering at least a part of the treated body excluding the part to be subjected to oil repelling treatment in applying baking treatment to a member with an oil repelling agent applied thereto, as the treated body. SOLUTION: In applying baking treatment to a treated body such as a bearing hub, a covering member 1 made of metal, heat resistant rubber, or the like is disposed to cover a part (such as a bond face 36A of an adhesive 36) not to be subjected to oil repelling treatment. The covering member 1 is formed in cylindrical shape hollow in the center so as to be able to cover the upper bond face 36A of the bearing hub and to expose upper and lower oil repelling parts 37A, 37B of a shaft accommodating part 37 of the bearing hub to hot air to thereby apply excellent baking to the oil repelling parts 37, 37B. Excellent baking treatment can thereby be applied to the upper and lower oil repelling parts 37, 37B of the shaft accommodating part 37 of the bearing hub.
