PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a living room which facilitates installation of air-conditioning equipment and execution of maintenance thereof. SOLUTION: A multilayer space part 20 wherein spaces overlap each other in layers vertically is disposed adjacently to a living room space 11 provided in a building 1. The multilayer space part 20 is composed of an upper-layer space 21 disposed on the uppermost side, a lower-layer space 22 disposed on the lowermost side and an intermediate-layer space 23 disposed between the upper-layer space 21 and the lower-layer space 22, and air-conditioning equipment 50 for conditioning the air of the living room space 11 is provided in the intermediate-layer space 23 out of these spaces. Thereby access to the air- conditioning equipment 50 can be gained from any of the upper-layer space 21, the lower-layer space 22 and the living room space 11.
