PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To blank a shape larger than the blanking limit and also to omit finishing work by executing finish blanking using a forming punch/die set after blanking a work slightly shifting from the line of the final shape of the work by nibbling. SOLUTION: The part of a semicircular part 12 of the work 10 is formed by executing nibbing while forming crescent-shaped slugs 12a by moving the work 10 along a circular-arc with a small pitch. In the rectangular part 13, nibbling the feed rate of which is comparably larger is executed while forming rectangular slugs 13a by changing the die set into a rectangular punch/die set. These working are executed shifting the line inward slightly than the line 11 of the final shape. Next, the forming punch/die set consisting of a forming punch having a same shape as the line 11 of the final shape and die matching to this punch is attached to a press and a material is blanked on the line 11 of the final shape by one punching.
