PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a vehicle attitude by restraining a roll, pitch and bounce during traveling with a low consumption energy and improve controllability and ride comfort performance. SOLUTION: Based on sensor information detecting a vehicle condition, an actuator 6 disposed between an unsprung member and a sprung member of each of wheels is driven thereby controlling a vehicle posture. The actuator 6 comprises a first coil spring 22A which absorbs vibration of the sprung member, a shock absorber which has constant damping force characteristics and restrain free vibration of the first coil spring 22A, a spring seat 34 which supports a lower end of the first coil spring 22A, and a seat vertical movement mechanism 32 which moves the spring seat 34 in a vertical direction based on the sensor information.
