PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring leg part comprising an improved receiving part for a spring to prevent bending of a coil spring at an action thereof while preventing bending load of a spring plate to easily use springs of different length. SOLUTION: This spring leg part for an automobile comprising a receiving part of a coil spring 3 is provided with elastic spring caps 6, 6a comprising both a spring supporting surface tilted so as to fit to a pitch of the spring 3 and an elastic modulus equal to a supporting area of the spring 3, having the coil spring supported, and being received by supporting members 7, 7a, and the spring 3 has free ends 25, 26 and is supported on a vehicular structure at one end 26 and on a damping circular tube 11 at the other end 25 by the elastic spring caps 6, 6a held in the supporting members 7, 7a, and the supporting members 7, 7a are engaged to each other together with corresponding spring caps 6, 6a by a secured part 14 to energize the spring caps 6, 6a by the spring 3 at the secured part 14.
