PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial type rotary cultivator having a series of cultivation sections, the first section followed by the second section, wherein a driving system which rotates a rotary pawl axis in the second section is simplified to facilitate the section to be attached to, or detached from, the first section. SOLUTION: This cultivator rotates a rotary pawl axis in the first cultivating section by a mechanical transmission mechanism which is in communication with a PTO axis of the tractor, and also independently rotates a rotary pawl axis in the second cultivating section connected to the first section at the rear side by an electrical motor, in order to simplify the pawl axis driving mechanism and allow the second section to be easily attached to, or detached from, the first section.
