PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically bundle paper sheets accumulated by a specified quantity without labor by detecting that the paper sheets are accumulated in an accumulation part by the specified quantity, and bundling the paper sheets by a bundling tape. SOLUTION: As paper sheets P are fed into an accumulation part 15, a back plate 17 is pushed and moved, and a bundling mechanism 27 comprising a heating head 34 and a holding part 35 is moved while holding a tip part of a bundling tape 24. When a back-up plate 17 actuates a detection lever 21 of a detector 20, the paper sheets P of a specified quantity are judged to be accumulated in the accumulation part 15. An arm 37 is moved along a guide hole 16c according to the detection signal to move the bundling mechanism 27 along the front side, the top side and the back side of the accumulated paper sheets P, the bundling tape 24 is bundled around the accumulated paper sheets P, another heating head on the lower side of the bundling tape 24 is elevated, a middle part of the bundling tape 24 is pressed against the heating head 34 on the upper side for the heat bonding, and cut by a cutter.
