PURPOSE: A variable type supercharger of a diesel engine is provided to maintain an optimum driving state by driving a sleeve rotor in two steps to match an RPM of an engine and by adjusting a compressibility of an intake. CONSTITUTION: A first driving gear(40) and a second driving gear(42) are installed at a driving rotor axis, and a first slave gear(60) and a second slave gear(62) are installed at a slave rotor(30) in order to change an RPM of a supercharger according to the RPM of an engine. The RPM of the slave rotor(34) is varied by changing a tooth engaged state of gears by an electronic switching valve(74) controlled by a control unit(76). A driving rotor(28) is supported rotatably at a housing(22). The first driving gear(40) and the second driving gear(42) are installed at the driving rotor axis. The first slave gear(60) and the second slave gear(62) are placed at the slave rotor axis(30) against to the first driving gear(40) and the second driving gear(42).
