PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the proliferation of mildews or microbes and eliminate generated malodor by adsorption, neutralization, oxidation/reduction, masking and the like and at the same time, impart a feel of natural massiveness to a wood molding by applying an antimicrobial agent to the body of the wood molding consisting of a wood raw material or impregnating the body of the wood molding with the agent to achieve the molding of a wood. SOLUTION: The wood composite board as a wood molding comprises the body 1 of a plate like wood molding obtained by pressure-molding aspen strands 2 into a plate shape and an antimicrobial agent applied to the body 1. The strands 2 are set in various directions and voids between the strands 2 are partially filled with a resin 3 which functions as an adhesive. Consequently, each of the strands 2 is firmly fixed by connecting with each other in a complicated fashion. The liquid antimicrobial agent is applied to the body 1 of the wood molding to obtain a wood composite board. The antimicrobial agent penetrates every part of the body 1 of the wood molding by impregnating a log, chips or strands with the antimicrobial agent and thus the internal generation of microbes and the like are inhibited.
