PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermotherapy device, which can accurately and easily perform the setting of the therapy conditions in order to effectively heat a lesion area alone while preventing normal tissues around the lesion area from being damaged, in response to pathomorphisms of individual patients. SOLUTION: A controller 6 automatically operates the output P of laser beams and the flow rate Q of a cooling fluid being fed to the main body 110, which are the therapy conditions in order to perform a thermotherapy, based on the shortest distance d1 and the longest distance d2 from the outgoing end 111a of the laser beam, i.e., the surface of a surface layer 21, to a target region 30, being input in a control section 8. Then, the controller 6 outputs control signals to a laser beam generating device 2 and a cooling fluid circulating device 4 in response to the obtained therapy conditions. Also, the set therapy conditions are displayed on a monitor 7, together with the input information being input in the control section 8. |
