SUBSTANCE: apparatus has quantifying drum connected through transportation channel with yarn discharge pipe, hollow spindle positioned within yarn discharge pipe and connected to rotation drive of twisting device. Hollow spindle is equipped with peripheral filament twisting devices. Spindle is made in the form of needle from which core thread is discharged. Peripheral filament twisting device has lugs positioned on spindle sharpened end and oriented at an acute angle to axis of spindle in the direction of exit end of it. Lugs are inclined at an angle of 5-15 deg to axis of spindle, and length of lugs is within the range of 3-10 mm. Spindle lugs are manufactured from bristles, flexible line or springy bronze. Apparatus is used for producing reinforced thread. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved strength and quality of yarn. 3 cl, 1 dwg
