PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface heating element-containing long-sized carpet which has a high design characteristic and excellent housing characteristic and has a high degree of fabrication freedom to allow designing to arbitrary forms including long-sized and short-sized shapes, and the like, so as to meet the shapes, atmosphere, or the like, of a room where the carpet is used and a simple process for producing the same. SOLUTION: A lining layer consisting of a resin composition 10 having flexibility is laminated on the rear surface of a fiber surface material 9. The resin composition 10 having the flexibility is supplied and adhered as the lining layer to the rear surface of the continuously supplied fiber surface material 9 of the surface heating element-containing long-sized carpet 16 embedded with fiber cloth 12 having a surface heating element function in the lining layer and is then subjected to drying and heat treatment. The fiber cloth 12 having the surface heating element function is supplied and embedded into the resin composition 10 before or after the supply of the resin composition 10.
