PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog-pulling rope which can be switched on to emit light, switched off to put out the light, and switched on to emit the light from the pulling rope portion in night and also at a dark place, and can thereby exhibit a recognition function by receiving a light emitter in the pulling rope member and integrally attaching a switch box in which a battery for operating the light emitter is disposed. SOLUTION: This pulling rope is formed by connecting one end of a tough, flexible and light-transmitting pulling rope member B having electroluminescent fibers (hereinafter referred to as ELF) therein to a holdfast A to be connected to the collar A1 or body ring of a dog, and attaching a holder D to the other end of the pulling rope through or having a switch case in which a battery to be connected to the ELF is disposed.
