civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: weighting device may be used in laying of main pipelines. Weighting device has pair of tanks each of which consists of rigid flat frame and semicylindrical containers made of flexible material and suspended from frame. Each tank is made extended and multisectional in direction of pipeline axis. Each of sections is separated from adjacent section by means of intermediate transverse wall and frame spacer. Tanks of weighting device are coupled to each other by connections element imposed on pipeline and made of flexible material (that is force belts imposed on pipeline and secured with their ends to external passes of frame). Weighting device is suspended from pipeline, and tanks are filled with earth. EFFECT: extended store of equipment. 3 dwg
