oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: compound for insulation of inflow of stratal water has sodium silicate, calcium chloride, poorly soluble surface-active substance, hydrocarbon fluid and water. Waste product of lanolin production treated with triethanolamine with following proportion of ingredients, per cent by mass: sodium silicate 10.8-12.4; calcium chloride 10.5-12.6; waste product of lanolin production treated with triethanolamine 10.0-18.0; hydrocarbon fluid 15.0-24.0; water being the balance, is used as poorly soluble surface-active substance. Parts-by-mass proportion of sodium silicate and calcium chloride is 1.0:0.87-1.14, parts-by-mass proportion of sodium silicate and waste product of lanolin production is 1.0: 0.89-1.55. EFFECT: increased efficiency of operations for insulation thanks to raised stability of insulation screen contacting solutions of alkalis and acids, reduced permeability of water- saturated collectors. 1 tbl
