PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a town house equipped with both stair and home elevator in addition to excellent habitability. SOLUTION: House units constituting the town house comprise a basement floor 18, a first floor 20, a second floor 22 and a rooftop 24. At one side portion where the house unit 14 fronts on the outside, a dry area extended continuously up and down from the basement floor 18 to a plurality of floors 18, 20 above the ground is provided adjacently in order to take in the natural light to the inside of the basement floor 18. A home elevator 30 is installed in the house unit 14 for conveying persons between the floors of basement floor 18, first floor 20, second floor 22 and rooftop 24 respectively inside the house units 14. In addition, an exterior stair 32 connecting between the basement floor 18, first floor 20, second floor 22 and rooftop 24 respectively is installed outside the house unit 14.
