PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional drive trolley conveyor having low noise and vibration even for transportation of a heavy load, capable of transporting the load stably and simplifying a device structure and capable of simplifying a maintenance. SOLUTION: This trolley conveyor comprises a transfer rail 1 having a circular cross-section extended along a transfer line, a number of J-shaped rail suspending members supporting the lower surface portion of the transfer rail 1 at specified intervals in the longitudinal direction of the rail, a number of inverse J-shaped hook members 3 sliding on the upper surface portion of the transfer rail 1 in the longitudinal direction of the rail, a driven bar 4 for transfer installed crossingly across the inverse J-shaped hook members 3 to suspend a transported load W, and friction drive means disposed along the transfer line apart from each other, holding both side faces of the driven bar 4 for transfer, and sliding in a transfer direction.
