PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily producible flowerpot which is a flowerpot made of paper in place of a pottery or a plastic, made of the paper, usable for a relatively long period and having water resistance. SOLUTION: This flowerpot made of paper comprises a wall part 1 constituting the outer periphery thereof, a reinforcing material 3 having a peripheral wall of the shape similar to that of the peripheral wall of the wall part 1 and fitted into the wall part 1 and a bottom 2 having a planar part and plural bent parts 22 bent relatively to the planar part and fixed by nipping the bent parts 22 between the wall part 1 and the peripheral part of the reinforcing part 3. The wall part 1 and the reinforcing part 3 are composed of a paper tube and the flowerpot can be produced by placing a paper material forming the bottom 2 on either one thereof and superimposing the other thereon.
