PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for treating sheets which can simplify operation and improve operability. SOLUTION: In a system for treating sheets, a pre-treatment unit 2, a conveyance unit 4, and a division unit 6 are connected in series. The pre-treatment unit 2 conveys the sheets one by one, reads information on the division destinations of the sheets, converts the read information into codes, and attaches bar codes to the sheets. The division unit 6 reads the bar codes attached to the sheets supplied through the conveyance unit 4 and divides/accumulates the sheets into/in prescribed division pockets. When the operation of the system 1 is started, for example, a start button is pushed down through the operation part of the conveyance unit 4 to start the operation of all the units 2, 4, 6.
