PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treatment which can be simply and inexpensively practiced in use and does not generate an environmental problem, especially a problem wherein powder is scattered in a working place. SOLUTION: A specified amount of a liquid anti-packing composition is sprayed on a polymer material extruded and formed into granules by means of a cutter by at least one nozzle existing at the cutter site at a lower temperature than the temperature of the granules in such a way that without using an anti-packing agent of a conventional powder form, the granules of the polymer material are simultaneously cooled and processed to an anti-packing treatment. The liquid anti-packing composition comprises a saponified substance of a mixture of a saturated fatty acid and/or an unsaturated fatty acid with at least 10 carbon atoms dissolved in water so as to obtain a specified concentration (e.g. in a range of 10-40 wt.%) and it is preferable that the liquid anti- packing composition with an amount in a range of 0.8-4.5 wt.% to the total wt. of the granules is sprayed on the granulate polymer material.
