PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injection device to execute decision of abnormality, such as leakage of fuel, for various engines without being influenced by the number of cylinders of engine (the number of injection times) and the number of force feed times of pump. SOLUTION: An ECU 9 has a function serving as an abnormality detecting means to detect abnormality of a fuel system, and abnormality detecting process is executed such that a section (360 deg. CA) where a reduction of fraction value (three-injection/two-force feed) of the number of injection times (size times) and the number of force feed times (four time) effected in the combustion one stroke (720 deg. CA) of an engine 2 forms one group forms a decision section. An abnormality detecting means comprises a fuel leakage amount calculating means to periodically manage fuel leakage; an abnormality temporary deciding means to decide the presence of abnormality trough comparison of a fuel leakage amount with a decision value; an abnormality main decision means to decide whether fuel leakage truly occurs; an abnormality main decision time calculating means to calculate a processing time of the abnormality main deciding means; and a forced feed limit control means to limit a pump discharge amount of a fuel feed pump 5.
