PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll of high quality while winding a film with the appropriate winding hardness by preventing the generation of wrinkle in a film winding roll even when exchanging the full wound roll and when normally winding the film. SOLUTION: In this winding method, a pressure-contact roll 8 brought in pressure-contact with a film F to be wound around a bobbin at a winding position is supported by a pressure-contact roll support mechanism 24 freely to be epicyclically rotated in the condition that the bobbin is rotated around a rotary shaft, and pushing position, in which the pressure-contact roll 8 is pushed to the film F on the bobbin during the winding operation, is moved to a desirable position in relation to the carrying passage of the film F by a pushing position moving means.
