PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bearing reduced in frictional loss and noise and having a long life by sealing a bearing with a grease composition containing an alkali metal salt of a higher (hydroxy) fatty acid having a specified number of carbon atoms and/or an alkaline earth metal of a higher (hydroxy) fatty acid having a specified number of carbon atoms, a carbonic ester compound, and an ester type synthetic oil. SOLUTION: This bearing is lubricated with a grease composition containing an alkali metal salt of a 10C or higher fatty acid or of a 10C or higher hydroxy fatty acid having at least one hydroxyl group and/or an alkaline earth metal salt of the (hydroxy) fatty acid, a carbonic ester compound represented by formula I (wherein R and R' are each a 13-15C branched alkyl), and at least one ester type synthetic oil selected from a diester type synthetic oil represented by formula II (wherein R and R' are each a 3-18C alkyl; and n is 3-12), a triester type synthetic oil represented by formula III (wherein R is a 3-10C alkyl), a tetraester type synthetic oil represented by formula IV (wherein R is a 3-10C alkyl), and other neopentylpolyol ester type synthetic oils. |
