PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant composition having excellent lubricating properties by mixing a phosphorous ester having a (poly)oxyalkylene group with an amine. SOLUTION: Used is a mixture of a phosphorous ester represented by the formula with an amine, desirably, a product of neutralization thereof with an amine. In the formula, R1, R2, and R3 are each H, a hydrocarbon group, or -(R4-O)n-R5 (wherein R4 in an alkylene; R5 is a hydrocarbon group; and n is a number of 1 or greater), provided that at least one of R1, R2, and R3 are each a 4-36C alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl; and R4 is a 2-4C alkylene. When the phosphorous ester is oil-soluble, it is added to a base oil or to a base grease being a mixture of a base oil with a thickener, and when it is water-soluble, it is used after being added to water. Its mount of addition is desirably 0.01-20 wt.% in terms of the amount of the phosphorous ester or 0.005-15 wt.% in terms of the amount of the amine. |
