PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced earth structure preventing the working of partial large force to a reinforcing body and a concrete block for retaining and capable of surely maintaining the connecting state of the reinforcing body and an earth retaining wall. SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall 21 is constituted by superposing a plurality of concrete blocks for retaining 25, 26, upper-side recesses 28, 30 and lower-side recesses 29, 31 are formed to each concrete block for retaining, and crushed stone materials 33 are housed. Rear soil 22 is housed at the rear of such an earth retaining wall 21, and a net sheet-shaped reinforcing bodies 23 are installed under the state in which buried sections 35 are buried to the rear soil 22. Connecting sections 36 continued at end sections near to the earth retaining wall of the buried sections 35 are inserted into the earth retaining wall from sections among the vertically adjacent concrete blocks for retaining 25, 26. Since the crushed stone materials 33 are brought into contact with the connecting sections 36 inserted among the concrete blocks for retaining in the reinforcing bodies 23 and the crushed stone materials 33 are fitted partially to the meshes of the connecting sections 36 of the net sheet-shaped reinforcing bodies 23, the reinforcing bodies 23 are retained and connected to the earth retaining wall 21 by the so-called interlocking effect by utilizing mechanical engaging force among the connecting sections 36 in the reinforcing bodies 23 and the crushed stone materials 33.
