SHOCK ABSORBING MEMBER, INTERIOR TRIM MEMBER FOR AUTOMOBILE, AND DOOR TRIM FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing member of light weight and simple structure capable of coping with side impact with an excellent productivity, allowable to reduce both the number of parts substantially and assembly process of a door, and available as an interior member for an automobile including a door trim for the automobile. SOLUTION: This shock absorbing member is composed of a plate-like part 12 and a lattice rib 13 on a back of the plate-like part 2, and is an integrally formed body formed from fiber containing thermoplastic resin where a mean void ratio of the plate-like part 12 is 5-90%. The shock absorbing member is composed of polypropylene resin of 10-60 wt.% in content ratio of glass fiber and of 1-20 mm in weight average fiber length.
