摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of HC under a condition where a cylinder temperature is apt to reduce, even in a engine being a low compression ratio at a whole area of operation. SOLUTION: High pressure fuel is fed in a feed means 52 by a fuel injection valve 51, and a fuel injection control means 53 divides fuel injection into pilot injection and main injection by controlling the opening closing timing of a fuel injection valve 51. Further, an engine is a low compression ratio direct injection type diesel engine. In this case, an injection timing of pilot injection is set sufficiently before a top dead center by a setting means 54 and an arrival distance of fuel injection by pilot injection is suppressed by a suppression means 55.
