PURPOSE: An apparatus for swirling mixing air is provided to enhance an engine output by swirling a mixing air supplied into a combustion chamber by operation of a swirl generating member. CONSTITUTION: A gasket(3) is positioned between a cylinder head(1) and a cylinder block(2). A discharge hole(4) for an incomplete burnt gas is formed at a predetermined position of the cylinder block. A spacing is formed in the interior of the gasket with a constant dimensions. A guide(11) is taken in a protrusion by upper and lower ends of inner perimeter of the gasket. A swirl generating member has a gear formed on the outer perimeter of a disc body with a through hole at center and a middle portion of the body inserted into the guide. A driving member(30) rotates the swirl generating member by generating a rotation force from a flow energy of the incomplete burnt gas discharged through the discharge hole.
