PURPOSE: A control apparatus is provided to promote careful driving by turning on emergency lights and notifying emergency to vehicles behind when a driving car brakes urgently or the front car steps on brake. CONSTITUTION: A control apparatus of an emergency beacon has an emergency light switch(SW) to control power of a battery(27) supplied to the emergency lights(L1)(L2). The apparatus is composed of a vacuum sensor(15) operated by fluctuating condition of an engine; an electric control device of an engine outputting an actuating signal to notify the time of urgent brake; a relay(RY) switching a choke valve(21) from the actuating signal of the electric control device(11) of the engine; a choke valve supplying vacuum of the engine to an actuator(22) with the relay; an actuator supplying power to the emergency lights by the vacuum of the engine through the choke valve, and lights-on and lights-out of the emergency lights is controlled without control of the switch of the emergency lights.
