PURPOSE: An apparatus for inserting an IC card and a magnetic card is provided to prevent an insertion hole or a shutter from being damaged by preventing a card, which is not standardized, from being inserted, and by smoothly inserting a standardized card into the hole or the shutter. CONSTITUTION: The lower case(200) is formed in the shape symmetrical with the upper case. The lower panel operation groove(220) corresponded to a spring operation groove is formed in the center of the upper surface. A guide protrusion(221) is formed for guiding the entrance of a magnetic card. A pair of stop protrusions(211) is formed in a slide operation groove(210) at regular intervals. An insertion hole is formed in the front of the upper case and the lower case(200). Only standardized card is passed through a gate(300). The upper panel(301) and the lower panel(302) are equipped with an insertion hole(303). A guide protrusion(305) is formed on both ends of the upper surface of the upper panel(301). An inclination unit(307) is equipped on both ends of the lower surface of the upper panel(301). The first and the second slide(320) equipped with a pair of guide holes(311) are respectively installed in a latching unit(304). The first and the second slide(320) are safely installed in the slide operation groove(210) of the lower case(200). The first and the second slide(320) are equally divided by a horizontal unit(308) of the latching unit(304).
