gas and oil producing industry; measuring diameter of three-bladed members of drill pipe string. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes mutually perpendicular straps movable relative to each other. One strap is provided with measuring scale made in metric or another system; one end angle of 60 deg. At vertex is secured on it at angle of 30 deg. Vertex of angle is located at level forming the vertical with the beginning of reading of measuring scale and distance between end points of angle is lesser than length of strap having measuring scale by 1.7 times. Other strap is movable over surface of first strap and is provided with fastening screw for securing it. Magnitude equal to 1.5 diameters of member being measured is found from measuring scale.
