Apparatus has quantifying drum connected through transporting channel to yarn discharge pipe, and spindle positioned within spindle connected to spindle rotation drive. Spindle is made in the form of needle and is provided with mechanical filament twisting device having at least one lug. Lugs are disposed on needle sharp end and oriented at an acute angle to axis of needle towards yarn discharge end. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved strength and quality of yarn. 7 cl, 1 dwg
