PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending plate bearing device capable of facilitating the work in the case of construction and obtaining such a firm roof as it is strong against load in a bending plate bearing device for forming the roof so as to have soundproofing efficiency and heat insulation efficiency by constructing ceiling boards on ceiling joists. SOLUTION: A bending plate bearing device 5 fixed on ceiling joists 2 in order to bear a bending plate roof and, at the same time, having an engagement section 5a engaging the end of a longer ceiling board bearing material 6 lying between both ceiling joists on the lower end thereof is formed by mounting a joint member 9 having an overlap section 9a in a state to form the engagement section 5a along the outside on one side of the ceiling board bearing material 6, a locking edge 9b formed in the lower end edge of the overlap section 9a and brought into contact with a horizontal bearing piece 6a for bearing the lower surface of a ceiling board in the ceiling board bearing material 6 from above and a locking section 9c extended from the upper end edge of the overlap secion 9a and capable of being bent along the outside on the other side of the ceiling board bearing material 6 by bending it downward.
