PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the false hair capable of making a user freely enjoy a hair coordinate fit to a user's sensibility and to provide a method for producing the false hair. SOLUTION: Hair materials 13 are connected by a wire 11 to give the attachable hair 14. A proper number of the hair materials are gathered together and subdivided to plural sets to form bundled hair 12. The whole attachable hair 14 including the bundled hair 12 is provided with an adhesive, dried and heated to produce the false hair 10 including leaf-like or feather-like bundled hair. The produced false hair 10 comprises plural sets of leaf-like or feather-like bundled hair 12 which is successively arranged perpendicularly to the wire 11, and can be fitted as false hairs of various forms to the hair of head by winding and bending the wire 11.
