PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively close a boot and to improve the strength of a closed cut part by passing the grip parts of a lower tongue part through the through holes of an upper tongue part when overlapping the upper tongue part and lower tongue part with each other, and gripping the grip parts projecting from the through holes by grip means. SOLUTION: This boot 11 is formed of a plurality of ring parts 13, 15 and a divided part 21. An upper tongue part 23 and a lower tongue part 25 are formed along both side edges 27a, 27b of the divided part 21. A plurality of through holes 81a-81d are formed in the upper tongue part 23, and a plurality of grip parts 83a-83d are formed at the lower tongue part 25. After the boot 11 is fitted around the outer periphery of a specified attached object, the respective grip parts 83a-83d are passed into the respective through holes 81a-81d. The projecting end parts of the respective grip parts 83a-83d projecting from the respective through holes 81a-81d are pulled by specified grip means to bring the upper tongue part 23 and lower tongue part 25 into close contact. The boot 11 can thereby be easily and positively closed.
