PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adjustment of hysteresis to satisfy a hysteresis request amount when opening and closing. SOLUTION: In this accelerator device, a shaft 24 is rotatably supported between a first support arm 14a and a second support arm 14b of a bracket 10. A lever 36 having an engagement arm 40 engaging with a second helical slider 60 is fixed to the shaft 24, a first helical slider 58 and the second helical slider 60 are rotatably provided to the shaft 24. The first helical slider 58 and the second helical slider 60 are sandwiched by an E-ring 56 and a friction plate 62. The first helical slider 58 is formed with plural first slant faces 68, while the second helical slider 60 is formed with plural second slant faces 70 contacting with the first slant faces 68. The first helical slider 58 has a friction return spring 64 energizing the first helical slider 58 such that the first slant faces 68 contacts with the second slant faces 70.
