PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two layer type air conditioning unit capable of improving the feeling of air conditioning by providing smooth introduction of outside and inside air. SOLUTION: This outside/inside air two layer type air conditioning unit is provided with a duct 10 wherein an outside air inlet 11 and an inside air inlet 12 each provided with a damper open to an upstream side and outlets 13, 14, and 15 open to a downstream side. It is also provided with a blower fan 19, an evaporator 21, and a heater core 31 all arranged inside the duct 10. The interior of the duct 10 is divided into an outside air passage 17 and an inside air passage 18 by a diaphragm 16. The outside air passage 17 and the inside air passage 18 are divided in a vehicular fore and aft direction and the outside air passage 17 is arranged in a vehicular advancing direction side.
