PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material preventing the change of gloss of a surface protective layer caused by the alkali resistance test or the contact with a kitchen bleaching agent, or preventing the generation of poor touch feeling when the adding amount is increased, or eliminating the necessity of curing in manufacture while keeping the required levels of Hofmann scratch, resistance to wear and resistance to stains and also eliminating fragility by using a mat agent in a surface protective layer. SOLUTION: A decorative material is constituted of a color layer 2, a pattern layer 3, a primer layer 4 and a surface protective layer 5, all of which are formed on a base 1, and a lipophilic silica is used, and the silica is blended preponderantly in the primer layer. Alternatively the primer layer is formed by using a binder containing an ionizing radiation curable compound.
