PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding method facilitating the positioning of an insert body and preventing the positional shift of the insert body even at the time of injection molding, and an insert mold. SOLUTION: An insert mold 10 consists of a first mold 12 and a second mold 14 and the support part 18 and guide part 140 of an insert body 40 are provided in the second mold 14. After the insert body 40 is placed on the support part 18 of the second mold 14, both molds are clamped and a molten resin is injected in the molding space formed by both molds. The insert body 40 is positioned by the guide part 140 and certainly held even at a time of injection molding so as to be prevented from positional shift.
