PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a radically polymerizable resin composition capable of producing a smaller rise in viscosity and a smaller amount of gelled materials and more readily carrying out the temperature control of contents than those of a conventional method for producing the cationic polymerizable resin by bulk polymerization and more advantageous to all aspects of the time, operations and energy than those of a conventional solution polymerization. SOLUTION: (A) A polymerizable monomer having (A1) one reactive group having radical polymerizability in one molecule is radically polymerized by using (B) a liquid polymerizable monomer having (B1) at least one reactive group having substantially cationic polymerizability without the radical polymerizability in one molecule as a reactional solvent to produce a liquid transparent cationic polymerizable resin composition comprising the polymer composed of the polymerizable monomer (A) and the polymerizable monomer (B).
